How we started
It began with a card table and a craft fair
Mountain Homemade opened its doors after years of watching the same story play out at every craft fair, farmers market, and church bazaar around Mountain Home: incredible handmade work, sold for one weekend a year, then packed back into a garage.
We wanted a permanent home for that work — a real storefront on Highway 62 where a woodworker's rocking chair could sit next to a quilter's throw and a potter's mug, seven days a week, without anyone having to fold up a tent at 4pm.
Today, everything on our shelves is consigned directly from the person who made it. No wholesalers, no importers, no mystery about where anything came from.
